Water Treatment

What is decalcification?
Softening consists of eliminating, through ionic exchanges, the hardness of the water caused by excess calcium and magnesium, which are the cause of scaling in the installations.

The water passes through a resin bed which, thanks to its chemical characteristics, attracts and retains limescale without altering the characteristics of the drinking water.

Limescale-free water will result in significant energy savings. Limescale is a thermal insulator that adheres to the wall of the boiler, the heating element of the washing machine and the dishwasher and leads to excess energy consumption for heating water. One millimeter of limescale on these heaters represents 16% of wasted energy.

Limescale will no longer adhere to the toilets, they will be shiny and without traces of limescale. Your skin will be soft and moisturized because it will not suffer the aggression of limescale.

Instalaciones Arroyo installs the water softener that best suits your needs always using top quality materials and brand name equipment.

What is reverse osmosis?
Reverse osmosis is the ability of a semi-permeable membrane to separate water from substances dissolved in it.

An application of pressure will cause the water to pass through the membrane, separating the pure water from the water containing salts.

The osmotic membrane acts as a barrier not only against salts and inorganic matter but also against organic substances with a molecular weight greater than 100 daltons. It is therefore also an excellent defense against micropollutants, pesticides, pyrogens, viruses and bacteria.
Reverse osmosis technology “reverses” precisely this phenomenon to prevent the passage of salts, chlorine, nitrates, pesticides and other substances.

Reverse osmosis is a process that does not require the use of chemical products, so the water returned to the environment only contains components of the water it already contained in its origin, making it an environmentally friendly system.

The water is therefore much safer and more pleasant after the osmosis treatment, becoming water of the highest quality for the daily consumption of the whole family and for the preparation of meals.

What are the benefits of osmosis?
Osmosed water is ideal for drinking and cooking and meets the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) as it has a low level of mineralization (<100ppm).

It is diuretic, since it is very light, we drink more and it is eliminated more quickly. It helps to purify our organism, especially in renal processes.

You will avoid having to buy, carry and store bottles or carafes of bottled water and also reduce the ecological impact by not having to recycle plastic containers.

Take advantage of all these benefits and trust Arroyo Installations to install your Osmosis equipment.
